Entries for the MVSSC-hosted AKC agility trial judged by Lisa Jarvis opened October 23 and closed December 4. We had a good showing on many difficult courses. On Saturday, MVSSC member Vicki Head’s Jagger won High in Trial in the regular classes and Sharon Kondraki’s Buzz was High in Trial in the preferred class. Sunday had no preferred class High in Trial qualifier, so Vicki Head’s Sky earned HIT in Standard while Andrew Clark’s Freya won HIT in Jumpers with Weaves. We love to see those shelties run!
As always, trials are not possible without an army of volunteers to run them, from the secretary, trial chair, and course builders down to the hospitality committee and the bar setters. Thanks to Gem City Dog Obedience Club for providing a wonderful venue for us to have fun with our dogs.
